Frequently Asked Questions
Q.
What if I don't want any tools used?
A.
That's perfectly fine! We understand that not everyone is comfortable and may prefer a hands on approach only and we are happy to do so.
Q.
Will I be sore after my treatment?
A.
Just like a good workout at the gym, post massage soreness is a possibility. We will take every possible caution using the principles of massage therapy to decrease the chances.
Q.
What does a first visit look like?
A.
During your first visit you can expect to have a full assessment. For this reason we highly recommend you book a 60 minute appt. This will include a review of your health concerns, goals for treatment, range of motion testing, orthopedic assessments, a time for you to ask questions and to give informed consent to the treatment plan presented to you and ofcourse treatment. After your treatment your therapist may reassess to see how you are moving, providing you with stretches or exercises that can be done at home to assist with your recovery.
Q.
Can pregnant women have massages?
A.
Absolutely! Massage is perfectly safe to have during all trimesters. Some adjustments are made during your visit to ensure the safest and most effective treatment can be given. This includes placing you in a side-lying position, additional pillows placed for your comfort and support.

A.
We require 24 hours notice to cancel or reschedule an appointment. We understand that life happens and sometimes this is not possible, A first time rescheduling under that time there is no fee. Second time a charge of 50% of your booking fee will be charged- no exceptions.

No you don't, massage is for everyone! Please check with your insurance company to see if they require a Doctor's note prior to coming in for your first visit.
